The theme this year is “Shiori” (“Bookmark”).
With this theme, we wish for everyone involved in the Tanabata Festival to etch special memories into their hearts, with the festival serving as a bookmark that revives those moments.

The Passion of students, the dreams of children, and the heartfelt support. All of these intertwine and make the Tanabata Festival a truly memorable moment.

History of the Tanabata Festival

~Online Tanabata Festival during the COVID-19 Pandemic~
In 2020, the traditional Tanabata Festival was canceled due to the pandemic. Instead, we organized a new "Online Tanabata Festival". On the day of the festival, we recreated the campus on the virtual SNS platform "cluster", and received positive feedback from many participants. We also made sure to stream multiple contents simultaneously, to recreate the experience of "being able to walk around and explore", which is one of the charms of a traditional school festival.

~A Tanabata Festival in the new normal~
In 2024, it was held fully offline with the theme of “San-gen-shoku”(“RGB”) behind the concept of the Executive Committee, Participating Groups, and the local community working hand to hand along with the visitors.
The Tanabata festival featured traditional summer festival scenes, including fireworks, festival stalls, and Bon-Odori in yukata. Various groups such as student clubs and community members participated in classroom exhibits, stage performances, and food stalls, enriching the Tanabata Festival with unique displays and performances. The festival drew many visitors and ended successfully in a lively atmosphere.
